I have some Delphi code that does this. It can be made into a DLL or a standalone EXE.

What would you like?

Ryan.

ok. So from the log file I can tell you haven't actually updated your BR.exe file. Your still running a buggy version of BR. That may also explain the BRSupport.exe if your having trouble with the BRSupport icon not turning yellow. If Luis is confident in the version of BR.exe he downloaded and test...

Please re-read my last reply. Look under HELP menu item and find the Program Logging menu item. You can then click the BR Debugger option and provide a file name. Turn on/Activate the MyEdit Debugger how ever you want. Try the Debug Connect command. I don't understand what you mean by turn it "...

BRSupport has nothing to do with debugging. BRSupport is there to help with detecting advanced HWEs and other features. The debugger only uses the active BR connection from your running version of BR. Even running MEBR in the portable configuration shouldn't make any difference as long as the MEBR D...

Re: Debug Connect

There is a bug in BR v4.2e where the debugger (ie Debug Connect) is broken. There is a fix in the works, Dan and Gordon, have a couple of people testing it. Please be patient. As for how it works, it tries to establish a TCP connection on a specific port where it starts listening for commands from t...

Re: MyEdit - portable install

Hi Ryan, The MyEdit documentation says that I can install MyEdit on a flash drive. How do I do this? I don't want to mess up my current installation on my desktop. But I'd like to be able to take it out to a client with me for an install tomorrow since I'm CERTAIN I've screwed some stuff up and wil...

I'm interested, but not sure if I can fit it in any time soon. I'm buried by a project with an unrealistic deadline. On the other hand, I'm using MyEdit now (daily), but I'm clueless about many of its features, so training would be helpful. I'll let the rest of you decide on the time and then see i...

If I remember MST is 2 hours behind EST. So EST it would be 10:30PM. Still, I am looking forward to some training, count me in! I have a problem making it any earlier during the week as my wife now works in the evenings and the girls are not in bed until 8pm. Not every week, but definitely most wee...

RE: Myedit - portable install

There is two ways to accomplish a portable install. You can run the installer and deselect the "Non-Portable" options then install it to the Flash drive. The other way is to manually copy the .EXE and associated files (a la John's message) to a folder on the Flash Drive. There is a command...

Announcing: MyEditBR Training

Hello everyone, I posted a question some time ago requesting a virtual show of hands for people who would be interested in getting some training in all things MyEditBR. I'm pleased to announce that I now have the technology to hold on-line training courses. What I would like you to do is tell me whe...

There is a windows command called NET that you can use to do this type of thing. It's a windows system command and the format of the command would look something like this: net send (machine ip | user name) "message text" or to send a general broadcast: net send * "message text" ...
