New Orleans conference - FOOD

Hi all,
If you are going to the BRG Conference in New Orleans, here's an important heads up:
For lunches on Thursday and Friday, you will be on your own. We are not catering those lunches at the hotel. We figured that it would be much more fun to have a 2 hour lunchtime and get out to experience New Orleans a bit. So...since you are free to choose where you go, you might want to do a little homework before you get there.
There are MANY eating places within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel gave me a list of SOME of them (5 pages!). I am attaching that list here for your convenience. But feel free to go to Trip Advisor or anywhere else you want to do some research and check it out for yourself. We WILL be coming back to the hotel for the afternoon session, so keep that in mind as well. If you want to go further away than the "walk to" places, you might have to take an Uber or the New Orleans trolley. That's up to you!
