Hi all,

George saved my bacon this morning, and I thought I'd share. On my laptop, I was getting a 4261 error (OS err 61 - "Print Queue is full") no matter what printer I tried to print to. I tried many things:
  • - I restarted the print spooler
    - I reinstalled the printer(s)
    - I ensured that there were no WBSPL files.
    - There were no jobs in the Windows print queues either
It turns out that this was happening because I was directing my print spool files to my BR folder and I have a lot of OTHER files in there (non-spool files). BR doesn't seem to like this. Perhaps it doesn't realize that they are not spool files.

Solution:
Keep your spool files separate. Create a folder for the print spooler files and redirect BR to them (SPOOLPATH D:\BR\spoolfiles in my BRCONFIG.SYS file) and we have liftoff!

Thanks so much George.
