PDF Third Party Tools

Post by gordon »

I would like to report a great deal of satisfaction with a couple of PDF tools.

The first is PDF-XChange Viewer. This is an Acrobat alternative that is much faster and has all of the features I can think of that I might want, including being able to edit PDFs. If you try it you may wish to indicate your experience with it in this forum topic.

The second product is a PDF printer called BullZip. I owe this discovery to John Car of CAK ( a longstanding BR dealer ). The thing that is noteable about this product is that it creates PDFs that faithfully reproduce the image size that PCL printers produce. That enables you to print to a Bullzip PDF and use it in BR as a PDF background image using the same print positions as you would with a PCL printer macro. Bullzip is also very compact and friendly.
