CurFld in Grid

I tried use the BR!Wiki to learn how to use the CurFld command to set the position of a cursor in a grid, but that CURFLD page needs some serious work. It's very confusing and I don't know enough about the command to correct the documentation... But rather than wait for someone to correct it, possibly someone could just tell me how to use CurFld to set the position of the cursor's in a grid. Also when I set the position - can I put it into the field like they are editing it too? Or only set the focus to that field?
