Re: Is the Wiki Down?

Is anyone else having issues with the Wiki lately? Formatting looks strange and when clicking links I'm getting a lot of Not Found messages. Same results in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge so I am leaning towards something server side.

Re: Help Facility Issue

Disabling Option 35 did not fix the issue either. I think I will most likely need to wait for Gordon to chime in on the issue. I appreciate all the suggestions though. Thanks all!

Re: Help Facility Issue

Yeah we don't have a HELPDFLT so I won't worry about adding it then. All the files in our BR folder are set to read, write, execute permission including the .wbh files. I can create the error on demand whenever in 4.32k (no issues with 4.32c or 4.31fb). To generate the error its just a matter of goi...

Re: Help Facility Issue

Thanks for the continued suggestions John and Steve. I just downloaded all the 432k DLL files from the FTP server and replaced them. Unfortunately I still get the error. I am leaning towards this being a bug with the Linux server (assuming your server is Windows and possibly why you are not getting ...

Re: Help Facility Issue

Thanks for the suggestion John. I added your help files to both the server and my client folder but still get the same errors.

Help Facility Issue

On BR 4.32k I get the following error message when pressing F1 on the command console: "An error (IOT instruction) was encountered. Business Rules! will now terminate." BR then crashes and leaves a hung session. The error on the server log is: "*** buffer overflow detected ***: /usr/b...

Re: Is the Wiki Down?

Gordon, could the most recent Wiki issues be related to issues with the FTP site? I have not been able to access the FTP site for a couple days. Thanks much.

Re: Contract Work or Code for Purchase?

Hi Everyone, I greatly appreciate all the responses I received. I will be reaching out to everyone who responded in the order I was contacted. Gordon, we have all of our files populated in FileIO but it is primarily just used for the data crawler. I envision this project being an entirely new set of...

Contract Work or Code for Purchase?

Hello Everyone, I was wondering if anyone might be looking for some potential contract work. Our current BR product has served us well for many years, but it has come to the point where the management at my company is looking for two pretty big changes for us to be able to compete better in our indu...

Re: Conference Dinner on Thurs - need your input ASAP

Looking at the menus, I could easily find something at any of the places you listed. I will be happy with whatever the group decides. If I was forced to make a decision I think I'd probably go with Cochon.

Re: BR issue with Windows Defender or other Anti-virus products?

Susan,

If for some reason excluding the individual file doesn't take care of your issue you can usually exclude an entire folder. So you should be able to just exclude the entire "L:\br\" directory and I'd imagine it would take care of the issue as well.

Re: Wiki Down?

I am really missing the Wiki as well. I rely on it heavily and it is very disappointing to see it down for this long. You would think bluehost would notify customers well in advance before making site-breaking changes. Wishing Gordon a speedy recovery. I also use David's HelpTip utility for errors (...

Re: Wiki Down?

I also got two errors while originally making this post. It seemed to post correctly to the Forum but I don't think the e-mail is generating. I noticed I haven't got e-mails from the last couple Forum posts. The errors were: [phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/includes/functions_messenger.php ...
