If your running anti-virus make sure the folder your writing to and the windows spool folder are excluded from scanning.

Re: BR Error 6270

Is it a shared printer or network printer? If so I would add its ip in the Internet options. Also make sure the share is staying active. I have an issue with 2 client machines where they get a 6270 error (or a little windows that says BR was unable to start the print job) when trying to print to a s...

Re: EXE SYS -w Powershell (Opens a DOS Window)

Thanks Luis. Actually I had tested this after the meeting and determined I only needed the 'sys -M'. With the 'sys -w -M' my script errors out in Powershell, where with just the 'sys -M' it executes without any window or taskbar. Which was the functionality I wanted. EXE "SYS -w Powershell"...

Individual Cells, Columns, rows?? How would you want it to differentiate? I would guess if you had matrix that matched the Grid and just put the tooltip for specific cells in the Grid that would be cool. But also would be nice if a whole column could be defined.. A mouse over tool tip (help tips) fo...

TYPEAHEAD OFF affecting GRIDS

We have an issue on MACS where TYPEAHEAD ON is causing some crashes so I set it to TYPEAHEAD OFF Now in Grids you have to hit a key then hit it again to have it actually show up in a cell as the first entry. Each new cell you enter you have to do this? I was wondering if this was by design since it ...

I am not aware of anyone specifically. But I would think with 4.3's ability to run as a browser client, that it would work on the ipad. Not having not used an Ipad, I would wonder about keyboard input. But I would think that the programs would be able to run. I will ask Dan and Gordon when I speak w...

WB_SID.DAT was the file. The way it worked was it would try to create it if it didn't exist. If it already existed then it would just use that file. So I just copied that file into c:\windows folder and gave everyone read permission to just that file. I have not attempted it. But I do recall there b...

I have not attempted it. But I do recall there being a WSID.??? file that had to reside in the windows folder and the user trying to run br had to have rea access to that file. Or BR would not function correctly. That was just to run on older windows versions. So knowing WIN7 is going to restrict ac...
