[BR_forum] going from BR to Web

Post by James Lowman »

Are there any examples out there to help a person learn more about working with BR and the Web? I need to write a program that will track a remote site's finances and send the info through the Internet to the school's server. Anything would be helpful, thanks.

I came up with a solution that runs BR programs over the Web. You can check it out here:

There are a few simple examples and documentation. It is all free and open source.

Chris, I have downloaded your example and get an error that the computer can not find bridgeexamplebrbrserial.dat. Is this something that I need from somewhere else or do I need to place it within your directory?

Jamie does some work for us. He was at the conference in Atlanta for those of you who were there. Getting him setup with an account on the forum. Then he will post here.

For the benefit of those not quite so web savvy.. What do I need to run your examples off my own site? (I know.. Others may not)

I'm Sorry James, I see you did respond on the forum.. I spoke too soon. Please accept my apologies.

The BRSerial.DAT file is your lisence file from ADS. We are not able to distribute our BRSerial.DAT files because each one is specific to each BR vendor.

So, yes, you are right, you'll have to place your BR Serial file (from one of your other BR folders) into this folder in order to run the examples.

Hope this helps!

And I'm sorry about the confusion earlier :)
