[BR_forum] Decipoint and the NWP alignment

Post by GTISDALE at tisdalecpa... »

I have now tested the DECIPOINT parameter and it works as I expected it to and as was described in the former posting.

Attached is the test program that I ran that test alignments four different ways.

Interestingly the right alignment worked great using decipoints except on the last item of the list. That item was misaligned right by one character. However, if I included a bracket BAR bracket after the number (string) then the alignment was correct. So add a bar to the end of your printed stuff in the last position to avoid this potential glitch.

(John, I've disabled the lead in so you should be able to run this as long as you have FNSNAP.dll)

This may relate to the need for a field terminator when right justifying output. Try ending with CHR$(5).
