It looks like BR 4.x? changed the way that printing works when using NWP.

We print something like this:

~0% Var0 "N~FILENO=/FOW.1234~CMT=/Remittance Report" ?

On paper, this looks great, every thing looks just like it should.

In the windows print stream it looks more like this

~0%
Var0
"N~FILENO=/FOW.1234~CMT=/Remittance
Report"
?

(Between each line are extra characters to move the cursor to the proper position).

My question, is there a way to "Force the output" to be send "As Is" without BR working to "Correct the spacing"?

There is more to this than you are telling us.

If you print NWP or Preview you are asking BR and Windows to adjust your print stream.

If you do not want the print stream adjusted then print "Direct", but do not expect to be able to view your printed document in Windows.

Altrnatively you could print to a file so tht BR and Windows do not change your output since the do not know that you are creating a print job. You could then "Type" or "Copy" the file to a printer, or load it into a text processor and do wioth it what you would.

You are correct, I am attempting to print to a special print driver that archives the print jobs as an image.

The print driver looks for the specific code to identify the filing information.

This used to work with NWP, but it seems that BR is getting fancy an sending "Alignment information' between each word (Even if am just printing a simple job without any special formatting.
