Team Viewer 12

Greetings and Blessed Christmas.
It has come to my attention that Team Viewer has changed their policy regarding fees for commercial versions of their desktop sharing products. They are now charging by the month instead of a one time fee for each new version.
First of all, they produce a superior product and they have the right to charge anything they want for it. HOWEVER, they have a sneaky way of getting you to upgrade. Any time a desktop with an older version of TV they state that it is out of date and offer to upgrade it. Furthermore whenever a new client is added they always offer only the latest version of team viewer and the older versions are hard to find on their web site. Then as soon as the client is updated or installed they tell you the support TV must be upgraded in order to access the client desktop (for a fee of course).
I have been going along with them release by release. But the change to a monthly fee, combined with the above policy was irritating to me. So I tried other products but I was spoiled by Team Viewer performance. Finally I contacted a very friendly and accommodating Team Viewer salesperson. He sent me the following letter:

Hello Gordon,

This resolved all of my concerns. Anyone who inadvertently installed TV 13, requiring monthly fees, can uninstall it and reinstall an earlier version for which they have a license.
